Technowa measuring microscope
Product details: Technowa measuring microscope | Technowa | Micrometer | | Material: Brass
This is a very accurate measuring device for both length as well as depth differences. It measures by placing the microscope over an object. The field of focus of the microscope is very small; by manipulating the height of the microscope the image is made sharp. The height of the microscope can then be read from the vertical scale. This way height differences can be measured. The microscope has a set of crosshairs which also allow length measurements. It is even possible to take (limited) width measurements by rotating the telescope left or right. This is however not very accurate and actually makes the height measurement less accurate unless a computation is done. I use this microscope for looking at small parts of instruments if required.
