A very small, unsigned, reflecting circle wich uses a prism rather than a horizon mirror. The scale runs up to 200 degrees and thanks to the prism most of that can be used *untill you look at your own image again at around 170 degrees. The instrument came with two telescopes. What makes it different from many other sextants in my collection is the rotating shades on the eyepiece of the telescope allowing two filters or a plain hole to be selected. The only thing missing from the instrument is the microscope for reading the vernier. I will have to find a matching one to complete the instrument (again).
