The stamp is labeled 'sjømæling i norge 200 år 1985' which means so much as 'Sea research in Norway for 200 years, 1985'. The sextant chosen is perfect for this theme as it is a C.Plath survey sextant (no filters) and has the 90 degree prism on it. In the background is a nautical chart. There is another stamp in the collection dedicated to the 'The Norwegian harbour for 250 years in 1985' showing a cutter dredger which seems to be of US origin.
