Compensated barometer
A compensated barometer with leather case. The instrument is unmarked and reads up to 10.000 feet.
Product details: Compensated barometer | | Altimeter | |
Small barometer with adjustable altimetric reading (difference between two places). First set the barometer to zero at one location, then move (up) to the other location and read the pressure difference / height difference directly on the scale. Height differences are based on a standard atmosphere and not very accurate (when compared to levelling). It would be better to read the pressure difference and then convert using the correct atmospheric model (depends on location, temperature and specifically height).
