Essentially a very accurate barometer. It has a mechanism where the pointer is actually rotated untill a smaller pointer appears in the top window in front of a small mirror (to avoid parallax). With this mechanism the pressure can be very precisely determined. It needs to be kept level to work correctly. Comes with a travelling case, the original manual as well as a (very small) screw driver to adjust it.
