Year pendulum, obtained from the Netherlands
There is not much we know about this Year Clock, anniversary clock or Year pendulum. It was one of the first clocks in my wifes collection and we obtained it at auction. It is complete and runs like a charm. Like all year pendules, it does not keep time very accurately as small temperature differences tend to give it a varying rate. Over a year we now loose many hours, however it does indeed run for a year. The key with the instrument is not the original but rather from an old wind-up toy train... The glass does not seem original but is without major chips and sort of fitting. It is probably a modern version but still magnificent to look at it running.
