I'm nog a huge fan of action figures (never was, I'd rather play with Lego) but I will readily admit that this one is of superb quality. Shown here is just the figure and the nautical accesoires (sextant and maps), but the complete set has many more (check out the link below). I actually use the full set as a diorama for some of the smaller instruments to show them off in an nice environment.
The sextant is not a very good model of one and could have never worked as it is a) missing all the mirrors and b) has an octopus (the theme of this set) draped over it. It is a nice design though. The basket of maps on the other hand seems very detailed. I do not dare unroll them as the bands will certainly snap due to old age. But even the fragments look 'authentic' and very detailed.
