This 1:6 sextant is a very good model of the real thing. It was designed to be used with the 1:6 action figures of German U-Boat commanders. As with the action figures these are meant for dioramas and are very lifelike. It is only when you look carefully that you start to see the differences with the real instrument. Even the index arm can move (carefully).
