T2000 digital geodetic theodolite. Together with the DI4 this thedolite can function as a total station, allowing distances, horizontal and vertical angles. The instrument also allows the direct computation of coordinates using a starting coordinate and start direction. Considering this, it has all the options of the modern total station albeit none of its user interface. To use the instrument a thick book with key combinations need to be learned. For simple measurements it is not hard to operate though. The unit could optionally be used with the GRE3 data recorder to immediately store the measurements onto a memor card. I do have a GRE3 but it is no longer functional.
