This instrument was gifted to me by an old land surveyor whom was teaching at the Skilltrade Cat-B course. Altough I have stopped collecting other brands than Wild Heerbrugg where it comes to this sort of equipment, this was one of those where you are in doubt (if you are, collect, it may never come back to you...).
The reasons for still keeping this instrument is that the manual was written by Wild Heerbrugg and that the baseplat on this one (and connectors) are all Wild Heerbrugg compatible. Also, the incluced battery is from Wild Heerbrugg. So it seems that this is once more a point in time where Wild connected to another manufacturer for getting their EDM's (Sercel being the other). Funny enough, the manual says 'gedruckt in USA' with the layout and style being Wild Heerbrugg.
