Wild Heerbrugg DI1000 + GTS5
One of the most modern Wild Heerbrugg Distomats before the brand name changed to Leica. I have two models in my collection, one obtained with a T2 in the Netherlands and the other obtained with a T1000 in the US.
Product details: Wild Heerbrugg DI1000 | Wild Heerbrugg | EDM | |
This Distomat looks the most modern due to its smaller optics than the predecessors. It is a small, sleek instrument. Used this type of instrument at Nautical College in the 1990's during my own training to become a hydrographic surveyor. Still remember having to figure out the 'ppm' due to temperature, humidity and pressure while measuring to a target a few hundred meters away. The DI1000 with the T2 came with its box and manuals as well as a separate GTS5 keyboard. The keyboard is not needed on the T1000 as the DI1000 on the T1000 interfaces directly with the T1000 and is operated from there.
