Wild Heerbrugg roof plummet

This small accessory fits to the telescope of most Wild Heerbrugg theodolites (T1, T2, T16). It is used in the same way as the regular plummet, that is, to set up the instrument directly below rather than above control point. For this the instrument needs to be leveled and set horizontal. The roof plummet can then be used to position the instrument below a control point in for example a mine where the control point are generally located on the ceiling.
