The stamp shows a 'sextant similar to the type used by captain Cook'. I'm not sure why the text says 'similar to' as it seems that the original sextant of captain Cook is shown in the stamp. The stamp is part of a series of four dedicated to captain Cook, showing furthermore his ship, the Discovery, a painting of him and a memorial wedgewoord medallion.
