Rare Ebbco station pointer. This was the Ebbco answer to the Davis station pointer. Clearly aimed at yachtsmen considering its small size which would never fit a regular nautical chart. The instrument is 'dual purpose'; not only does it facilitate plotting a three point fix with the (Ebbco) sextant but it also allows the computation of heights given the vertical sextant angle and the height of the object measured to. It further serves as a regular angle and distance plotter with a full degree and inch scale (as well as an metre to metre ratio).
