This instrument was gifted to Skilltrade together with the R&A Rost plane coordinatograph and is now on loan in my collection. This instrument was used for the direct plotting of stadimeter or Total Station angles and can set out angles and distances directly. It is the larger (and much more precise) version of my small H Wild polar coordinatograph. The instrument came with accesoires such as a transversal scale. The instrument is undated but probalby dates from the 1970s or 1980s and was probably superseded in the 1990s by the direct computation of coordinates in the Total Station (and the subsequent plotting with CAD software).
