Wild Heerbrugg NA28
Small engineering level that was top of the engineering range.
Product details: Wild Heerbrugg NA28 | Wild Heerbrugg | Simple theodolite | Survey |
This is one of the last automatic levels designed by Wild Heerbrugg before they became Leica and is a successor to the 1970's NA1 / NAK1. The NA28 has a horizontal circle as standard altough it is a simple circular scale. This was part of a series which also included the (orange!) NA20 and NA24. The number indicates the magnification so this is not a '2' series level. It's accuracy is 1.5 mm / km just as the NA1. The two orange models have accuracies of 2.5 and 2.0 mm / km and are therefore 'orange' indicating they were not meant for 'true' survey work. It is one of about 20.000 produced.

Best for the everyday's levelling jobs
As a building construction technician I use my NA28 almost every day. So the new "plastic" levels cannot be compared with this Wild product from Heerbrugg. The image of the staff is sharp and readable in any enviroment circumstances. So, this instrument is one of the best I have ever measured with.
