This clinometer has a microscope readout allowing very accurate angles to be read. It reads in degrees and minutes (with an esimation of the nearest 30 seconds). It reads in degrees rather than mils which could indicate it was not intended for military use. The colour and stencilling on the box suggest otherwise however. A left over from the cold war it is 'new old stock' and came with all the accesoires required to use it. It has dual levelling vials to allow it to be set correctly.
