I normally 'only' collect from Wild Heerbrugg but have made an exception for this Kern Aarau drawing set. The reason is its provenence. This set was at one time owned by the UK Hydrographic Office as demonstrated by the large 'HO 17' labelled on the box. The instruments have been last cleaned in 2004 by what reads as an S.Trapp. This would indicate that they have been used well into the digital age (although it could have been standard procedure to clean all instruments every few years). They do not seem to have been used much after cleaning as they are in a very gleaming condition today.
