This is the telescopic version of the Wild Heerbrugg 2a tripod. It is much easier to transport but also much heavier and less sturdy. Many of these tripods end up as feet for lampshades unfortunately but this one is in good condition and can go surveying tomorrow if required. I have both a 2a and a IIa. These are almost the same except for the screw locking the legs. Where the 2b has a smooth, rounded knob the IIb has an inverted wing nut design.
