I accept privacy policy rules

I have quite a few of the GST20 tripods. Alls of them have minor differences between them; mainly in the markings. One is ex-army as shown by its green colour. Only the army one and a single other still have the cover for the mounting plate. All have the small tripod bag with accesoires (plumb lead; adjustment wrench etc).

These tripods are still sold and considered better than the metal tripods (which are lighter). The wooden tripods; if in good condition (only two of mine still are) will be much more stable than the aluminium ones. The main risk in the wooden tripod is the wood getting too dry allowing play in the legs which makes them unusable. Soaking them in a bath of water sometimes helps but often they are dry beyond hope after prolonged storage.
