ER Watts RAE sextant Mk V

An early model bubble sextant, the layout is very similar to the Hughes Mk VII in my collection (which in turn is very similar to the Plath bubble sextants). This one was patented in 1923 and sold from 1926 until 1939. Based on the serial but also the case this could be an early model, but there are no date marks or much information on serials for this instrument. Unfortunately the bubble is no longer functional on this one.
