Tamaya is a large manufacturer from Japan. They have and still produce nautical sextants of high quality. Small sized models from them are hard to find altough I suspect this is not the only one in my collection. The other, the Bosun MkI also originates from Japan and Tamaya is the only Japanese producer I know about... As on the Bosun, all parts have been reduced in size from its normal sized equivalent. Even the frame is a small version of it larger brother (or sister, whichever you prefer).
