This is a alhidade made in 1986 in the Soviet Union a few years before the fall of the USSR. I bought it as 'new old stock'. Unfortunately the level broke during transport rendering it inoperable. I bought it for the accesoires, something missing from my other alhidades. Considering the working the instrument is quite similar to the Wild Heerbrugg RK1 in that it is self reducing. It comes with a scale ruler, a mangetic compass for finding north, a bubble level for the plane table, two staff levels for the measurement of distances and height differences and finally with the plumb bob for the plane table. All the documents are with it as well. The only thing missing is the plane table itself. The case can be used as a backpack for transport.
