This TomTom was acquired by 'accident'. It was part of a sale that included a sextant that I wanted. As the 100 was already out of date when I got it, I decided not to try to sell it. What I did do was use it on the motorbike for a while. It is not waterproof but at that point it was mid summer and rain not the biggest issue. I however quickly stopped using it on the motorbike as it had the nasty habit of falling of windscreen at 120 kph. It never was dangerous but also not very comfortable driving with a GPS unit sliding around the dash.
As the mount I then got did not really fit the GPS I started using my mobile phone which is watertight (and has also ended up on the dashboard once or twice untill I figured I had a mounting point hidden in the center console; something the manual neglects to tell you. By now I've decided just to keep it without any really good reason but mainly to show it as a counterpart to the Garmin C320 which was in the same price range albeit 6 years older.
