CSI Wireless Vector GPS Compass
CSI Wireless (now Hemisphere) Vector GPS Compass
The Vector is (was) the most famous of the GPS compasses with many of them sold to the dredging industry. Cheaper and more robust than a conventional mechanical gyro these units have replaced gyrocompasses in many applications. They are not as accurate as the current optical gyro's but are much cheaper and perfect for navigation. This unit was obtained as part of a larger donation by CT-Systems. It is no longer functioning.
