This is one of those enigma's in my collection. Based on the patent it is from after around 1992 but based on the trademark from somwhere in the early 1990's. Somewhere halfway through the 1990's Trimble Navigation became 'Trimble' on its products whereas this still has the original logo. It has a connection for a GPS antenna and a plug which seems overdimensioned for the RS232 DB9 and power connections that are now on it. The plug is a type used in the aircraft industry.
This item was donated to my collection by CT-Systems. Unfortunately little was known about the unit other than that it was probably the first of its kind and rather special. For what was however unknown.
