Product details: Wild Heerbrugg RS | Wild Heerbrugg | Home | Military |
This instrument is not a theodolite in the true sense of the word although it allows horizontal angles to be measured. The instrument is clipped to an artillery piece. The telescope then allows the target to be viewed in whenever direction but also to measure the associated angle in mils (2x3200 mils scale). If the target is not horizontal, the telescope head can be rotated vertically through 400 mils as well. The insrument is marked in German ('Hohe').
