Simple variation of the stadimeter without any optics. Using a pinhole the rotating knob moves a pin within the image allowing an object to be captured between the pin and the image line to measure the distance. Obtained together with storage bag, was missing the pinhole disc and with a broken eyepiece that still clamps on sufficiently for it to be used.
