Fiske type stadimeter almost identical to the Western Electric and presumed from the same period.

The instrument is dated 1919 where the 9 is separately engraved where the 191 is stamped. It was US Navy Reserve and seems to have been in reserve untill WWII based on the stamps inside the box. It is 'mint' though the wooden supports in the box had come 'unglued' which was an easy fix.
